Flat panel door
A flat panel door, also called a slab door, is one flat piece with no raised or recessed detail, which gives the cleanest, most modern line.
A flat panel door is a single slab. It has no frame lines, no grooves and no raised center. All the character comes from the color, grain or sheen.
This style is easy to wipe clean because there are no corners where dust can sit. It suits modern kitchens, garages and multi-family projects. The finish matters a lot because nothing else breaks up the surface. See thermally fused laminate.
The Urban brochure says "Slab door and drawer fronts are constructed from 3/4" eco-friendly engineered furniture board" and describes its Cityscapes line as "A modern slab door design."
