Toe kick

A toe kick is the recessed base under a floor cabinet that gives your feet room to stand close to the counter without bumping the cabinet.

The toe kick is the notch at the bottom of a base cabinet. It is usually about 4 inches high and set back from the door. It lets you stand close to the counter.

It also hides the legs or base that hold the cabinet level. A cover panel closes the gap and gives the cabinet a finished base. Floors are rarely level, so the toe kick often needs to be scribed to the floor.

The Endura brochure lists an "Optional clip-on toe-kick" over "Adjustable rust-resistant 304 stainless steel legs." Endura RTA assembly guides also cover toe-kick parts. This setup lets you level the cabinet on uneven patios. Read more about Endura and the Endura RTA assembly and installation guide. See adjustable leg.
