Base cabinet
A base cabinet sits on the floor and supports the countertop, and it holds the sink, drawers and most of the everyday storage in a kitchen.
Base cabinets form the lower row of a kitchen. They carry the countertop and hold doors, drawers and shelves. Sizes follow a standard grid, so cabinets from one line line up.
The 2023 Innovation Cabinetry catalog lists standard base cabinets that are 34.5 inches high and 24 inches deep, in widths from 9 to 42 inches. Endura outdoor bases come in depths of 24, 27 and 30 inches. Maverick Garageworx base models start at 15 inches wide.
