Hinge adjustment
Hinge adjustment is turning small screws on a hinge to move a door up, down, in, out or sideways until the gaps are even.
A cabinet door can sag or sit crooked after install or after months of use. You can fix most of it with a screwdriver. Hinge screws shift the door in set directions.
A 6-way hinge moves in six directions, so you can line up the gap on every side. Adjust one hinge a little at a time and check the door after each turn. If the door will not align, ask your installer or dealer.
The 2023 catalog says its soft-close glides "have been tested over 50,000 times" and its 6-way adjustable hinges twice that many. The Profile and Endura brochures also list concealed 6-way adjustable hinges. See the assembly videos, the Diamond Difference and soft-close hinge. The full overlay entry explains why gap evenness is so visible.
