Crown molding
Crown molding is a decorative trim along the top of wall cabinets that bridges the gap to the ceiling and gives the run a finished edge.
Crown molding is a shaped strip that sits where the wall cabinet meets the ceiling. It hides the gap and adds a decorative line. The shape can be simple or detailed.
When you plan a kitchen, think about the height of your ceiling. Tall wall cabinets and crown molding need room to fit. If the ceiling is low, you may skip the trim.
The catalog and PDFs we use for Innovation Cabinetry do not list crown molding as an item, so ask your dealer what trim and finish panels are offered with each line. See the kitchen cabinet styles and colors page and compare the wall cabinet heights. A dealer can confirm trim options. Find a dealer. Measure the space above your wall cabinets before you decide.
