Tall cabinet
A tall cabinet runs from the floor to a high point near the ceiling, and it is used for a pantry, an oven, a broom closet or garage storage.
A tall cabinet is one box that spans the full height of the run. It replaces a stack of base and wall cabinets. It is often a pantry or a case for a wall oven.
It adds a lot of storage in a small footprint. The tradeoff is weight. Tall cabinets carry heavy loads and need solid fastening to the wall. Check the load rating before you fill one.
The Maverick Garageworx brochure lists tall models MV-PC2484 (24 W x 84 H) and MV-PC3084. The weight table gives a maximum of 315 lbs for the 24 by 84 inch cabinet and 420 lbs for the 30 by 84 inch cabinet, with the load spread evenly. Those figures come from our weight tolerance sheet.
