Assembled cabinet
An assembled cabinet arrives already built, so it only needs to be set in place and fastened, which saves time and reduces assembly errors.
A factory assembled cabinet comes from the maker as a finished box. The installer sets it, levels it and fastens it to the wall. There is no building on site.
Factory assembly gives a consistent result. Joints are clamped and checked in the shop, not in a garage. The cabinet takes more space on a truck, so shipping costs more and tight access can be a problem. See RTA cabinet.
The Maverick Garageworx brochure says "FULLY ASSEMBLED ... No assembly. No hassle." The EliteCraft brochure notes a "FLAT PACK OR FULLY ASSEMBLED" choice, and the KCMA certificate for the brand covers preassembled lines, not flat pack. See KCMA certification, Maverick Garageworx and the RTA vs assembled guide. Ask your dealer which option each collection offers before you order.
